WHAT WE DO
At Sunny View Farm, we passionately believe in the power of regenerative agriculture, not just as a novel farming practice but as the only way to ensure that our land, animals, and communities are cared for long-term.
We are pasture-raising our livestock and incorporating diversity, rotational grazing, and agroforestry to the greatest extent possible. This allows our animals to live the lives they were made for and positively impact our land, creating a virtuous cycle of health and abundance from the ground up.

Our animals are the heart of Sunny View Farm.
Each one is lovingly cared for and plays a vital role in our farming ecosystem.
Chickens
Pepper, our OG chicken, has been with us since we re-started Sunny View in 2023. She is outside daily, enjoying the sun and living her best life. She and her flock have free range of our pastures with a varied, non-GMO diet that benefits not only them but our sheep, our soil, and you!
Chickens in traditional coops are dirty and prone to illness. They need ventilation, space and grass. Even in winter, we go to great lengths to make sure that their living conditions are as healthy as possible (stop by and ask us more!). Imagine the difference in Pepper's quality of life, and the nutritional value of her eggs.
In fact, if you drive by you will get to see our chickens enjoying the north acres of our farm. When we say pasture-raised, we mean pasture-raised.
Sheep
Our lamb is grass-fed and finished, resulting in better flavor and a healthier fat profile. You may get to see these little guys jumping together outside if you stop by in May. 30 lambs playing tag is a sight worth seeing!
Did you know that each sheep has a differently pitched voice? Ewes and their lambs call to each other to make sure that neither grazes too far away.
Our grazing practices focus on achieving mutual health in our sheep and the plants they feed on. We rotate them every few days to ensure that the area they graze in is clean and able to spring back with plenty of new growth by the time they return.

NON-GMO PASTURE-RAISED EGGS
Our chickens spend their days exploring acres of grass at the front of our farm... and giving us side-eye while we do our chores. Their quality of life translates to some incredibly fluffy and nutritious eggs!
